The staff who work at the nursery are chosen very carefully for their dedication to children and their appreciation of the importance of ‘educare’ in a child’s early years. They are highly trained, motivated and dedicated to the care of your children.
Building on these basic qualities, we also encourage continual professional development for each staff member.
The staff are under the supervision of the owners, who are totally committed to pre-school ‘educare’ and are actively involved with every aspect of the nursery life. They are able to draw on over thirty years combined experience of working within the early years sector. Their knowledge and commitment ensures that all staff members are kept up to date with current methods and philosophies of education, thus encouraging professional development.
The partners regularly attend courses and conferences which have highlighted the importance of good quality ‘educare’ in the development of children. The staff respect that each child is an individual and has specific needs. Families too are individual, and we are here for parents as well as children. We welcome the involvement of parents, both in discussion on day-to-day matters, and in extra-curricular activities, such as trips, parties or charity events.
At current all staff are fully quailified, the qualifications range from a FD in Learning Support, MA in Early Years, N.N.E.B. and NVQ 2& 3, while also two members of staff are currently studying for a FD in Early Years |
